This weekend I'm grateful for Leyton Dog Beach where I had a lovely walk this morning with all my boys and our dog (sorry forgot the camera); for summer berries which Rascal is just loving; and for the Spotlight sale - I went to buy some denim to make Hubby a bag and came home with these delightful fabric instead!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. For more weekend grateful pop over to
Maxabella and tell us what you are grateful for.
ooooo, nice stash! I bought a big pile of that top fabric in purple/yellow at xmas (still using it for all sorts of lovely little projects!!)
ReplyDeleteIf the rain stays away for a few minutes tomorrow I'm going to try for a beach walk too - sounds like bliss to me :-)
have a great weekend

Ha! Ha! you shop like me. Go out for one thing and come back with something else :)
ReplyDeleteWhy can I never find such lovely fabrics at Spotlight? I stopped going for fabrics because I always found myself in a sea of twirly orange patterns and viscose... must go back and see what they're up to!
ReplyDeleteSummer berries.... mmmmm. It just makes you feel like a good mother when your children are tucking into them! x
I cannot sew. I have sew envy. So I wander through spotlight running my hand enviously over the fabrics and wishing I could. You are one clever lady.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely comment Sarah but I haven't actually made anything with it yet. I have sooo many ideas of what I want to make but not so much time to do it!
ReplyDeleteI am like Maxabella, I can never find nice stuff like that at Spotlight!
