She pruned a little door into the side of a weeping Mulberry tree.
Then we spread some wood chips to make a floor and added some "wooden furniture"
Such a cozy little spot just right for little people.

I love mulberry trees! We have an old weeping cherry that we use as a treehouse too. I love the little opening pruned in to the side - very inviting.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome is that cubby house. What a special aunt to actually prune a kids sized doorway for her newphews! We had a mulberry tree when we were growing up - delicious! Never heard of a weeping mulberry before.

This makes me miss the weeping mulberry tree we had in our old house - I wish we could have taken it with us. The boys would have loved a cubby like this one.
ReplyDeleteThis reminded me of my childhood days when I would hide away from my sisters just to give them a hard time...
